How scoring works
Two scores, out of 100
Five questions rate the foundations behind your product: brand consistency, reusable parts, accessibility, documentation, and ownership.
Six rate the experience your customers get, from “it works” at the base to “it is meaningful” at the top. Between usable and convenient sits the chasm, the gap most products never cross. A level counts only when every level beneath it is in place.
What you get
- Your two scores, instantly
- Your level on the experience pyramid
- Your top three priorities
- A detailed report to share
- A free walkthrough, if it is a fit
Halfway there
Foundations done. Now, the experience your customers get.
Six quick questions, from “does it work?” to “could customers live without it?”
- Your overall score and two sub-scores
- Your three biggest gaps and what they cost
- A recommended path forward
What this is costing you.
Your three biggest gaps, based on your answers, and how we close them.
Most products stop at usable. Only the best cross the chasm to convenient, delightful, and meaningful, and that is where loyalty and growth compound.
Your path forward.
Start where it matters most. Each level builds on the last, and you can take any part on its own.

Great products need two things: an experience users value, and the foundations that let a team deliver it consistently. The index scores each one separately, because they rarely mature at the same pace.
Foundations scorecard
The systems and practices behind the product.
- Tokenized design system
- Whether design decisions are stored once, as tokens, and used everywhere.
- Pattern and component library
- Whether teams reuse shared, documented building blocks.
- Accessibility compliance
- Whether people with disabilities can use the product, and whether that is checked.
- AI ready documentation
- Whether guidance is structured well enough for AI tools and new hires to follow.
- Design operations and governance
- Whether ownership, critique, and decision processes keep quality consistent.
Experience pyramid
The quality of the experience your users get, from the base up.
- Functional
- The product does what users need it to do.
- Reliable
- It works consistently, and quality is measured.
- Usable
- People complete tasks easily, and research confirms it.
- Convenient
- It saves customers time and effort and anticipates what they need.
- Delightful
- Details, content, and voice make it feel crafted.
- Meaningful
- A clear strategy connects the experience to what users value most.
Each area is rated from 1 to 5. Scores convert to an index out of 100 per axis. On the pyramid, a level counts as established at 3 or higher, and it only counts if every level beneath it is also established.
